A New Magic – Bubbling Over
These works celebrate feelings of boundless delight in my life currently. Revelling in time spent making and the opportunity to live immersed in the wonder of the natural world, I paint with deep gratitude. Learning and working from the poetry found in both birth and decay; I ponder the narration of time, place and renewal.
Potential and innovation as an optimistic pursuit has been carried through my practice of over 30 years. When restlessly chased, nothing is ever quite captured or fully understood – the state of play is kept alive. Lively alchemical exchanges between material, method and meaning attempt to satiate my curiosity. These conversations feed my soul; the aim is not mastery but a welcoming of alternate perspectives.
