Quevara is a Melbourne-based design studio bringing together myth, architecture, and the visual languages of East and West to create tactile, sculptural, functional, and wearable objects. Bold colours, curious forms, and rich materials come together in works that celebrate the joy of making and the poetry of use. Proudly handmade in Melbourne, Quevara thrives on experimentation, where each object is a playful invitation to rethink how beauty, meaning, and function can live side by side. Bridging the conceptual with the material, Quevara crafts pieces that speak to imagination, touch, and everyday wonder.
The work function as a visual interpretation of socio-cultural and technological developments, the work aims to anticipate future topics while using the dichotomy of humanities and science. Art and science have been engaged in an exchange of ideas and narrative structures. The body of work is an abstract visualization linking the human and the nonhuman and addressing the incipient intersection of nature, biology and technology.
