Kristina Tsoulis-Reay grew up in Aotearoa New Zealand and currently lives and works in Naarm Melbourne. Her most recent solo exhibitions include Rondures at Lon Gallery, Bloom Shadow Circle at Caves, Movements at Gallery 9 (Sydney), and Shared Ruin at Sutton Gallery Projects. Her work was included in Painting, More Painting at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in 2016. Other group exhibitions include shows at The Honeymoon Suite, Federation University (Gippsland), Lowrise Projects, Monash Faculty Gallery, Milani Gallery (Brisbane), Utopian Slumps, Centre for Contemporary Photography, TCB, Block Gallery (Sydney), Seventh Gallery and One Minutes Foundation (The Netherlands). She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours at RMIT University in 2009 and a Master of Fine Arts at Monash University in 2014. She is a current PhD candidate at Monash University and is a recipient of an Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship.
Kristina acknowledges the sovereign custodians of the Country in which she lives and works, the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, and pays her respect to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
