Additional Info

To maintain continuous clarity of thought without doubt, digression, or deformation is rather rare. And so my work is the result of several half-sentences and truncated revelations, arranged together in an attempt to organise the wrinkles and the clamour into something faintly melodious.

Dawn Vachon studied visual arts at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, receiving her BFA in 2008. Since relocating to Melbourne, she has made a lot of ceramic pots and has exhibited a handful of ceramic things that aren't pots. Dawn can often be found throwing, hand-building, and concocting glazes at her home studio in Coburg.
