Each piece is meticulously made by hand with a commitment to a minimal environmental footprint and a devotion to creating handmade, cherished ceramics that last a lifetime and beyond.
Iggy & Lou Lou love getting their hands dirty, making everything themselves in their studio using the highest quality locally sourced clay & glazes. With a Masters of Ceramics behind them, there is a strong emphasis on mixing the latest in ceramic technology with traditional making methods. Theclay is mixed with quartz which gives the ceramic body extra strength, a silky sheen and a warm white tone.
Texture is everything and working with clay provides endless textural possibilities. It has that magic ability to appear both raw and refined at the same time - simultaneously primal and luxurious, its evolution is limitless.
