'Carcass' presents a series of ceramic vessels that have evolved from docile domestic decorative ware to objects of ominous intent.
At the crossroads between Andrei Davidoff 's studio and art practice, the Carcass series presents dark tableware that commemorate the finite, the mortal and the theatrical aspects of dining. A beef flank, a hare's digestive tract, human teeth all provide a background upon which the diner to ponder the macabre relationships between death and consumption.
