Moulding Form with Anton Hasell

Moulding Form

Moulding form is an intensive 3-day program where participants will explore mould-making and replica production from flexible moulds. The aim of the class is to learn the conceptual and sequential processes required to make flexible moulds, not to assist participants to complete large scale moulds. Materials will be available for small (10cm by 10 cm by 10cm) objects. Students will need to supply materials for larger projects that are to be negotiated with the teacher.

In these sessions Anton Hasell will be covering:

  • How to analyse form for mould-making processes
  • The range of moulding materials available to the mould-maker
  • Working with plaster of Paris in moulding and pattern reproduction
