curated by JESSICA BRIDGFOOT

We have officially lost Jess Bridgfoot but she hasn’t quite gone yet. Indeed, the next exhibition at Stockroom has been curated by Jess – and it promises to be amazing. Titled Belonging to the Night, Jess writes that the show is ‘inspired by the dark moments between sleep and wake. Imagine that you have woken in the middle of the night to find yourself in an eerie landscape populated by disembodied figures and other-worldly creature. In Belonging to the Night, artists investigate the dystopian beauty of a nocturnal world across themes of landscape, myth, sex and death.’ With a roster of talent including Bonnie Hanlon, Bonnie Lane, Michael Needham, Renuka Rajiv, Brad Rusbridge, Heather B. Swann and Ross Taylor, the exhibition will be well worth visiting.

Belonging to the Night opens at 4.30 on Saturday 10 December and all are welcome. It runs until Sunday 8 January.
