Sculpting with soft Metals

Sculpting with Soft Metals with Anton Hasell is a 3 week program where the participants will explore the techniques required to shape and texture soft metals such as copper and brass.  Anton Hasell will offer an insight into his own practice of shaping copper to create his wall sculptures. Participants will then have the opportunity to create small sculpture, jewellery or container works through a process of repoussé  and chasing techniques.  Anton Hasell will also guide the learner through joining techniques using rivets and demonstrate the chemicals and process required for the patination of copper and brass.
